Greenhouse gas has decreased significantly during the 2 years of the global outbreak of the Covid disease, but immediately increased again when the disease was under control. Many of the world's major air conditioner manufacturers have identified responsibility in their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by changing the refrigerant. Refrigerant R32 is the optimal choice to use in air conditioning products as its low GWP (675) figure reduces the risk of global warming by one third compared to older refrigerants while there is almost no chance of depleting the ozone layer. As one of the first air conditioner manufacturers and assemblers in Vietnam, Nagakawa Group has researched and developed new models of air conditioners using new models. Using HFC32 refrigerant completely replaces products using HCFC 22 refrigerant. Up to now, 100% of Nagakawa's air conditioner products only use Gas R32, which is safer and more environmentally friendly. Nevertheless, R32 can also reduce energy consumption by about 10% compared to air conditioners using R22 refrigerant, helping consumers save a significant amount of money while using Nagakawa's products.

Besides trying to make refrigerant with all 3 requirements: safe, environmentally friendly and efficient in cooling, Nagakawa Corporation is also working hard to mobilize all resources to support the market during the heat peak. At the end of May 2023, Nagakawa quickly launched a campaign to supply millions of large sun umbrellas, display shelves, air conditioners model, product catalogs, sales uniforms, technician shirts... and gifts to all agents of Nagakawa air conditioners in the North region. Dozens of trucks all at once depart on each route, passing thousands of kilometers, across provinces and cities, bringing sharing and bonds from the manufacturer to the distribution system and point-of-sale agents to quickly and promptly serve the urgent needs of thousands of households in the summer which is predicted to be record hot. The programme is also being extended to the Central and Southern areas, receiving excitement and welcome from both selling agents and distributors across the country.
